Dwarsrivier Mine required specialized maintenance services for their TMM fuel systems to ensure uninterrupted mining operations. The existing systems needed regular servicing, calibration, and emergency repairs to prevent downtime and maintain safety standards. As a current subcontractor, Laps Projects and Logistics was engaged to provide ongoing fuel system maintenance starting January 2024.
The mine aimed to establish a reliable maintenance schedule for all fuel systems, minimize operational disruptions, and ensure full compliance with mine safety regulations.
Implement regular preventive maintenance program for all TMM fuel systems
Reduce unplanned downtime related to fuel system failures
Ensure all safety protocols and OHSAS 18001 standards are followed
Provide rapid response for emergency repairs
Train mine staff on basic system checks and reporting
